Barnesville School Board

The regular monthly meeting will take place on Thursday, April 17 at the Middle School Cafetorium. The meeting start time is 5:30.

The regular monthly meeting will take place on Thursday, April 17 at 5:00. The meeting will be held in  the high school Learning Center.

Income Tax Reminder

Barnesville officials remind residents and employees who work in the village that the filing deadline for Village Income Tax is Tuesday, April 15. Information on filing forms are accessible online at the Regional Income Tax website or by calling (800) 860-7482 and (TDD) (440) 526-5332.

Assistant Water Clerk – The Village of Barnesville will be accepting applications for a part time Assistant Water Clerk. This position will be approximately 21 to 30 hours per week Monday through Friday. The successful candidate must be capable of being called in for duty anytime needed from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Candidates must have good clerical and excellent customer service skills.

Applications may be obtained at the Barnesville Water Department, 126 East Church Street, Barnesville, Ohio and will be accepted until this position is filled. The Village of Barnesville is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug Free Workplace.

The annual clean up by township trustees and JB Green Team for residents of various townships will take place this spring and fall. On the collection dates, items will be accepted from residents of affected townships only.  Collection dates are:  

• Warren Township – Saturday, May 3, Watt Center, 511 Watt Avenue near Mulberry Street and the Barnesville Depot  9:00-1:00
• Flushing Township – Saturday, May 17, Holloway Village garage, 9:00-1:00
• Smith Township – Saturday, September 13, Centerville Community Center, 9:00-1:00
• Union Township – Saturday, September 20, township garage, Lafferty, 9:00-1:00
