Touch of Amish Fundraiser – April 17
The Barnesville Hospital Auxiliary will host a “Touch of Amish Fundraiser” at the hospital lobby, 639 West Main Street, Thursday, April 17. Hours for the sale are from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Offered that day will be fry pies ($4), Popcorn ($8), Beef Sticks ($14) and Summer Sausage ($8.50 or $12).
Dysart Woods Invasive Plant Removal – April 26
Join volunteers at Dysart Woods, Saturday, April 26 from 10:00 – 1:00 pulling invasive species in the woods.
Invasive species cut off our native plants from sunlight and the best method of control is community. Come join our volunteer crew as we pull invasive species at Dysart Woods! We will have extra gloves, and some tools provided but you’re welcome to bring your own. Water will be provided but there is no bathroom facility at Dysart. The address is 61919 Dysart Woods Rd.
Lafferty VFD Mother’s Day Flower Sale Fundraiser
The volunteer fire department is selling hanging flower baskets for Mothers Day. All sales benefit the fire department and its mission.
The cost is $25 per basket with pre-orders taken until April 30. Payment may be made by PayPal or Venmo.
Baskets pick up times are Thursday and Friday, May 1-2 from 12:00-6:00 at the Lafferty Fire Station.
