Chamber Seeks Flower Basket Caretaker

The Community Flower Basket Committee is seeking a reliable, responsible, and trustworthy individual with a truck to help water our downtown hanging flower baskets.

Details:

  • Paid job
  • Watering Schedule: 2-3 times per week
  • Time commitment: About 3 hours per session
  • Duration: May (around Mother’s Day) through October
  • Supplies: A water tank and necessary chemicals will be provided

Save the Date: First Fun in the Ville – May 1

The first downtown Fun in the Ville event for 2025 will take place on the Main Street parking lots, Thursday, May 1, from 4:00-7:00. This event is the first of three this summer. The others are set for June 5 and August 7. The theme this month is “Super Sidewalk Tour”.

Chamber Offers American Flags

“Time for spring cleanup! Check your American Flag to see if it needs replaced”. The Barnesville Chamber of Commerce is currently offering Made in the USA flags available at the chamber office, (2 ½-feet x 4-feet) with or without grommets for $35.
