Roger Dale Turley

Roger Dale Turley, 78, of Bannock, Ohio passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.  He was born May 7, 1946 in Farmington, Ohio, a son of the late Albert Milton Turley, Sr. and Eleanor Elaine Ondusko Turley Wonski.

Roger was a retired heavy equipment operator of the former Quinn Coal Company and a Christian by faith.  He was a member of the Fairpoint Polish Club (Life Member), Hocking Muzzle Loaders Club of Bethesda, Ohio, NRA (Life Member) and the National Muzzle Loaders Association.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest “Ernie” Turley.

Surviving are his loving wife of 53 years, Laurel E. Kirkpatrick Turley of Bannock; his children, Brian (Pam) Turley of Bethesda, Karen (Kevin) Jones of Bannock, Kim Bodine Hopkins of Vernon, Texas and Milton (Dawn) Turley of St. Clairsville, Ohio; siblings, Shirley Mort of Uniontown, Ohio, Albert Milton (Marilyn) Turley, Jr. of Uniontown, Kathy Meade of Bannock, Brenda McCormick of Bannock and Michael (Patty) Wonski of Uniontown; six grandchildren, Jeromie Turley, Jessica Jones, Kayla Mathias, Kyle Turley, Noah Turley and Odis Bodine; 11 great grandchildren; one great great grandson.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2 pm until time of services at 7 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with Chaplain Kris Bright officiating.  Final arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
