Beads and Bonnets

Female members of the Batesville United Methodist Church were encouraged this week to mark Mother’s Day at the service on May 11 by wearing beads and bonnets and sharing stories of their mothers.

5Loves Food Ministry Giveaway – May 17

The First Christian Church of Barnesville’s monthly food giveaway will take place at the church’s New Life Center, 219 West Church Street, Saturday, May 17 from 11:00-12:00.

According to church spokesman Mike Lucas, the food is available to “Barnesville Area School District only with proper ID”.
