Caps Off to 2025 Barnesville Graduates

The Barnesville Exempted Village School District will present diplomas for the 147th time to the class of 2025 on Tuesday, May 20. This tradition dates back to 1878. The event is scheduled to take place at the Barnesville Shamrock Stadium at 7:00 PM. In case of inclement weather, the program will move to the BHS Gymnasium.
The Barnesville High School Baccalaureate Service, sponsored by the Barnesville Area Ministerial Association (BAMA), will precede graduation on Sunday, May 18, at 6:30 PM in the BHS Auditorium. Teacher Corey Powell will give the charge to the senior class. A charge is a tradition that marks the transition from one stage of life to the next, where a final message or address to the graduating class offers guidance, encouragement, and often a call to action. Several seniors will speak as well.
