ST. CLAIRSVILLE — Belmont Career Center students will be honored during the 54th annual Senior Certificate Ceremony and Awards Presentation on Monday at the ECO Center at Ohio University Eastern.

Scholarship, attendance, outstanding career-technical student awards and career-technical certificates will be presented to 95 seniors.

Top honor students are Jerrilynn Beavers, daughter of Amy Burkhead of Bridgeport, and Tanner Hoff, son of Kevin and Becky Hoff of Barnesville.

Beavers completed the Hospitality & Tourism program and will graduate from Martins Ferry High School. She was inducted into the National Technical Honor Society, received the Chamber of Commerce Academic Award, and was named to the honor roll or principal’s list during her high school years. She was selected “Student of the Month” during her junior and senior years. Beavers plans to enter the workforce after graduation.

Hoff completed the Precision Machining program and will graduate from Barnesville High School. He was inducted into the National Technical Honor Society and was named to the honor roll or principal’s list throughout his high school career. He received two academic letters and was a one year member of Future Farmers of America at Barnesville High School. Hoff also plans to enter the workforce after graduation.
