Celebrity Ice Cream Servers Sought

“Summer Fun” Fun in the Ville – June 5 will include Contest!

Local “celebrity” ice cream servers will compete at Fun in the Ville Thursday, June 5 as they compete against each other to raise money for the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley.

The top three celebrities who raise the most money will be recognized on the day of the event and on social media platforms. The top 3 winners will receive a $25 Barnesville Gold Certificates.

Dipping Kirke’s Ice Cream in half hour shifts, contenders will raise money for the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley. Money raised here, stays here.

Before the event servers will Fundraise. Ask classmates, teachers, school administration, local businesses, family and friends. Be creative and create excitement and competition between “celebrities”. Create social media videos, make signs, school announcements etc.

The United Way will promote the event on social media and Barnesville Chamber of Commerce newsletters.

The day of the event participants will compete for tips along with turning in all monies raised prior to the event.

Vendors at the event include Wood Fired Pizza, Cowgirl Country Fixin’s, Kirke’s Homemade Ice Cream as well as many participating community organizations and causes.
