Summer Gatherings at Stillwater Meeting House

There are two gatherings at the Stillwater Meeting House on Sandy Ridge Road just east of town this summer.
The First, Quaker Spring, is a Conservative Gathering, and takes place this week beginning Wednesday afternoon with registration and finishes up with attendees attending First Day services at Stillwater Sunday morning.
Quaker Spring attracts a diverse group of Quakers from around the world. This year it will be attended both in person and through Zoom.
The Quaker Spring gathering takes place at Stillwater every other year.
The second gathering, the Ohio Yearly Meeting of Conservative Friends, has been a Barnesville staple since 1878 when the current Stillwater meeting house was erected. During this meeting on August 4-10, members associated with (OYM) will meet to handle business of the religious organization.
