“Best of Show” Quilt at Quaker City
Barnesville resident, Celia Rockwell, is pictured with the quilt awarded “Best of Show” at the 2025 Ohio Hills Folk Festival’s quilt show this past week.
The quilt is a hand-appliqued and hand-quilted quilt she and her sister, Kathryn Rockwell Hamer, made for John and Wanda Rockwell’s 50th wedding anniversary, 15 years ago.
Celia is a lifetime artist, quilter, ceramicist, and is currently a floral designer at The Flower Gardens in Barnesville.
