Ribbon Cutting at St. Clairsville Neighborhood Hospital

ST. CLAIRSVILLE – Hospital officials were joined by local politicians and the community to formally introduce the St. Clairsville Neighborhood Hospital Friday morning, July 18. The Ribbon Cutting ceremonies took place at the new medical facility located along Route 40 near Plaza West on the site of a former auto parts supply store.
While the ceremonies formally marked the launch of the hospital, it will not open officially until it is ready for patients, Dwayne Richardson, president and CEO of Twin Cities Hospital, shared.

The new facility is part of the larger Trinity Health System, a member of CommonSpirit, that manages both Trinity Hospital West in Steubenville and the Twin City Hospital in Dennison.
The new community hospital is located in a two-story building and includes 10 emergency room beds, six inpatient beds, as well as radiology and laboratory suites. A helipad on the grounds will allow air transport to other medical facilities.
Taking part in the program were Dave Willey, manager/mission integration; Dwayne Richardson, president and CEO of Twin City Hospital and regional operations for the system; Jim Padden, foundation representative; Dr. Matt Colflesh, chief medical officer, and Dr. Christopher Gooch, medical director.

Local officials providing remarks included Belmont County commissioner J.P. Dutton, St. Clairsville mayor Katherine Thalman, as well as Allie New representing Congressman Michael Rulli and Nick Ulan speaking on behalf of U.S. Senator Jon Husted.
Fr. Thomas Chillog of St. Mary’s Catholic Parish provided a prayer and blessing.
Prior to the Grand Opening, Dwayne Richardson hosted members of the Ohio Hills Health Center’s medical and dental team with an advance tour of the new hospital.
