Tent Revival Planned
The members of the Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church, 57302 Stumptown Road, Barnesville, will hold a tent revival meeting, August 8-10. Services are from 6-9 p.m. at the rural church southeast of Barnesville and east of Somerton.
The theme of the revival is “Time for Harvest” based on the gospel of Matthew. “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” (9:37-38).
Assumption Kitchen Project Complete
The renovation project of the kitchen at the Assumption Catholic Church wrapped up recently. Contractor Kevin Miller was the contractor on the project. Parishioners are welcome to get a “first hand view” of the new kitchen following Mass on August 4-5 and enjoy cookies, coffee or lemonade.

East Main Street Church of Christ – August 6-7-8, from 6:00-7:45 p.m. Classes for all ages. Theme “David and the Giant”
Holloway Methodist Church “S’More Learning” Event Set
The Holloway Methodist Church is planning a learning event for Friday, August 8 from 6-8 p.m. at the Holloway Old Timers Grounds. The church will supply the smores and supplies.
