Captina Science Pub Focuses on Native Fishes

The next Captina Science Pub, featuring native fishes of central Appalachia, is set for 6 p.m., August 25 at the Main Street Barrel House, 137 E. Main Street, Barnesville.
Dr. Stuart Welsh, a research fish biologist for USGS and WVU Professor, will present an informative talk on the subject.
Attendees are invited to come early at 6 p.m. to enjoy dinner in the meeting room, or join in at 7 p.m. for the talk.

The Captina Science Pub – a series of lectures from scientists and researchers on topics of interest – is an educational outreach program of the Captina Conservancy, a land conservation nonprofit, headquartered in Barnesville.
