Barnesville – 40, Bellaire – 0
On the Big Game, Barnesville easily handled Bellaire Big Red at Nelson Field along the Ohio River, 40-0. It was Barnesville’s 39th consecutive regular season win and Bellaire’s first loss of the season.
Barnesville scored 19 in the first quarter and 14 in the second going into the half with 33 points, three over the number needed to kick in the “mercy rule”.
In the second half with the game on “running time,” the ‘Rocks added one more score in the 4th for a shut-out win.

Varsity Golf at Lakeside
The Shamrocks participated in the Cadet Invitational at Lakeside Golf Course, Beverly.

Barnesville Team A came in second with a combined score of 302.
All-Tournament Team Honors at the Cadet Invitational included three ‘Rocks linksters.

Brady Gallagher – 71 and Hayden Treadway- 72 for the boys; Kennedy Little – 78 for the girls.
Schools participating in the invitational included Caldwell, Cambridge, Fort Frye, Meadowbrook, Monroe Central, Warren Local, Waterford and Williamstown.

Barnesville is competing Saturday afternoon the Watkins Memorial Invitational that gets underway at Noon.
