Barnesville Area News is Hosting a Village Council Candidates Forum

Fulfilling its mission of community service, the Barnesville Area News Board is hosting the first of what we hope will be many future candidate forums.

The forum will take place at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 14, at the Barnesville Library Annex, 611 North Chestnut Street.  All seven contenders for the four positions have been invited to participate.

Crystal Lorimor, director of the Belmont County Community Improvement Corporation (CIC) will serve as forum moderator.

Written questions may also be submitted between 6:00-6:30 prior to the forum.

Submit questions to Barnesville Area News.

In addition to the forum, this publication has reached out to all seven candidates for biographies, photos and a short paragraph explaining why they are running for council. These will be posted online on October 9 and 10.
