Enterprise Album

The annual fall ritual of the World Series is almost upon us. Back in 1905, residents of the village of Belmont and surrounding communities eagerly awaited a ball game of all stars from Stewartsville, Glencoe and Neffs, during the July Harvest Home Picnic. In addition to the ball game, music was provided by the Heatherington Elk Band of Bellaire.

And, for the winning team – a free lot in the Lynn Addition of Belmont valued at $200 – the equivalent of $7,365 today!
