Monday, September 29, 2025
12:27 am – officer on South Broadway for a vehicle lockout.
8:07 am – officer on West Church Street for a traffic stop.
1:04 pm – 911 transferred a call regarding a reckless driver on South 800. Officer is behind the vehicle.
1:13 pm – officer on East Main Street near Riesbeck’s for a traffic stop.
2:22 pm – officer on North Chestnut Street near East Walnut Street for a traffic stop.
6:14 pm – officer on Cherry Street for a traffic stop.
8:19 pm – officer on East Main Street for a traffic stop. Officer issued a warning for license plate light and exhaust.
10:00 pm – caller from Laws Street reports being locked out of house. Caller has a window open but is unable to get the screen out. Entry successful.
Tuesday, September 30, 2025
9:29 am – officer at the High School for a vehicle lockout.
10:30 am – officer on North Chestnut Street for a traffic stop.
3:07 pm – person on station regarding an incident that happened at the high school.
5:39 pm – officer at the Memorial Park for a car in the ditch and needs a towing company’s assistance.
8:14 pm – officer on Leggett Avenue for a traffic stop. Vehicle has no working taillights or brake lights.
8:57 pm – officer on East Main Street for a traffic stop.
10:04 pm – officer on South 800 for a traffic stop.
10:59 pm – officer at Dollar General regarding a motion alarm drop. Officer reported all the doors are secured.
Wednesday, October 1, 2025
9:24 am – person on station to speak with an officer regarding an incident.
9:50 am – person on station regarding an abatement notice that was received.
11:36 am – officer on Mt. Olivett Road assisting with a one vehicle crash into a tree. One person is entrapped in the vehicle.
2:58 pm – call regarding a manhole cover off on South Chestnut Street near Crestview Cemetery.
4:25 pm – caller reports an accident at the light near Ohio Hills Heath Center. Drivers exchanged information and now want to file a police report.
8:47 pm – caller from West Church Street reports his neighbors placed a trash can in the roadway. The trash can is blocking a parking space and there is no place to park.
11:36 pm – caller reports traffic cones are knocked over into the roadway near Crestview Cemetery.
Thursday, October 2, 2025
12:36 am – caller from Warren Avenue reports a dog is missing for the past hour. Officer will keep an eye out for the dog.
2:04 am – traffic jam or road blocked on Pike Street/South Chestnut Street. Piece of metal or a hole in the road on the south part of Route 800. The sheet metal is moved 3 feet to 5 feet off of the hole.
2:04 pm – alarm drop on North Chestnut Street. I attempted to contact the key holder but had negative contact. Officer didn’t find anyone around the building and site is secure.
Friday, October 3, 2025
4:09 am – iPhone crash alert in the area of Vine Street. Officer patrolled the area with negative findings of a crash.
9:09 am – vehicle is possibly disabled. Vehicle ran out of gasoline.
10:15 am – person called reporting a man slumped over the steering wheel in a truck on North Route 800. Ohio State Highway Patrol notified. Officer patrolled the area with negative contact with the truck.
10:31 am – officer providing one female a ride just outside of town on North Route 800 to Dickinson Cattle Company.
11:16 am – caller from High Street reports a male and female walking towards North Lincoln Avenue with two small children. The male and female are screaming at each other. Officer separated both parties and stated that nothing physical happened.
12:26 pm – officer transporting a female student to Vine Street with a staff employee.
2:30 pm – officer on Mulberry Street for a traffic stop.
8:06 pm – officer on North Chestnut Street for a traffic stop.
Saturday, October 4, 2025
5:30 am – officer on East Main Street responding to a traffic jam or road blocked. Van is blocking the drive thru. The vehicle is on private property and owner may have it towed.
7:43 am – alarm drop on East Main Street. Keyholder couldn’t confirm password and stated that construction was underway. Workers may have set it off. Officer reports all is okay.
12:48 pm – person on station regarding a neighbor having five junk vehicles parked on their property. Person wants an officer to address it.
3:25 pm – officer on Fairview Road in Warren Township for a vehicle lockout.
5:48 pm – caller from South Lincoln Avenue reports pumpkins were stolen. Person asked for extra patrols.
9:41 pm – female caller reporting people are burning at the Leatherwood Road corporation line. Officer reports there are three to four brush fires.
10:16 pm – officer on South Chestnut Street for a traffic stop. Officer issued headlight warning.
Sunday, October 5, 2025
8:14 am – person from Leatherwood Avenue on station irate regarding a neighbor burning brush. He stated he called last night and this morning the area is covered in smoke, it is hard to breathe, and fire is still burning. The fire was a house trailer that was torn down. Fire Department dispatched and the fire was put out.
10:03 am – officer on East Main Street for a traffic stop near Dollar General.
10:44 am – officer on South Lincoln Avenue for a traffic stop.
11:37 am – officer on East Main Street for a traffic stop near Wendy’s.
1:18 pm – officer on East Main Street for a traffic stop near Advanced Auto Parts.
1:20 pm – caller needs to file a report for hitting a deer last night on Route 147 near Speidel. Advised to call the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
1:28 pm – officer on East Main Street for a traffic stop near Save A Lot.
3:25 pm – officer assisting another officer on West Main Street.
6:25 pm – officer on East Main Street for a traffic stop.
8:33 pm – caller from East Main Street reports someone stole their wooden sign. Information taken for a report.
