Shamrock 7th Graders Claim Buckeye 8 Volleyball Championship
The Barnesville Shamrock 7th Grade Volleyball team capped off an undefeated 18-0 season defeating East Liverpool in two sets to win the Buckeye 8 Championship this week at the ECO Center, St. Clairsville.
In the run up to the championship game, the team defeated St. Clairsville in three sets.
8th Grade Team Comes in Second
The 8th Grade team also made the Buckey 8 Championship but fell short to Buckeye Local. They ended the season 13-5.
To get to the championship game, the Shamrocks defeated Union Local in two sets.
On their way to the semi-final game, the team defeated Martins Ferry in three sets.
Varsity Volleyball
On Wednesday, the Varsity team beat two opponents in a Tri-Match at Harrison Central High School.
Barnesville beat Wellsville in two sets and Harrison Central, also in two sets.
