While some may find tobacco spitting an unappetizing activity, the tobacco industry was one of largest drivers of the local Barnesville economy for almost 100 years. This year’s winners are from the local area.
The contest is a Saturday afternoon feature of the Barnesville Pumpkin Festival.
1st – Shaun Steed – Woodsfield – 23 ft 3 in
2nd – Wade Riemenschneider – Barnesville – 19 ft 6 in
3rd – Mike Guy – Caldwell – 19 ft 2 ½ in
