Barnesville Cheer Squads Claim Two Competition Titles
Three Barnesville cheer teams competed at the Third Claymont High School Cheerleading Competition at the Uhrichsville school Sunday. A total of 55 teams from 21 high schools took part in the event.
The high school squad competed in Traditional and Game Day contests. They came away with the Best Choreography Award in the High School Traditional category.
The Youth 3rd and 4th grades and 5th and 6th grades teams also competed.
The 3rd and 4th team won the WOW Award.
High School team members to Brélan Schnegg and Ansley Baker placed in both the Jump and Tumble off during the day-long competition.
