East Central Ohio ESC Head Honored
COLUMBUS – East Central Ohio ESC Superintendent Randy Lucas was presented with the Buckeye Association of School Administrators (BASA) Exemplary Leadership Award by Dr. David Axner, Executive Director of BASA, at organization’s October 20 Governing Board meeting.
Mr. Lucas was initially recognized for this honor at the BASA Fall Conference that took place in Columbus on October 7. The Exemplary Leadership Award is presented to one active member in each BASA region who has demonstrated outstanding educational leadership and made significant contributions to educational administration.
This award honors administrators who embody vision, character, and service, inspiring colleagues across Ohio to elevate their leadership practices.
Prior to accepting his current position in 2017, Lucas served as Superintendent of the Barnesville Exempted Village School District. The 1987 Meadowbrook High School graduate holds degrees from The Ohio State University and the Franciscan University of Steubenville.
