Village Cemetery workers, Harold Sturgeon and Christian Carpenter on the ladder, were busy in the downtown Monday installing lighted wreaths on the decorative street light posts.
Mother Nature was all in for the change. Snows showers greeted citizens Monday followed by a hard freeze overnight. Tuesday brought more of the same.
Weekend tours are already underway at the Belmont County Victorian Mansion Museum and holiday craft shows are starting to fill the calendar. Barnesville’s big weekend will take place the first weekend of December with a lighted Christmas parade, ice rink and other special events.
