Christmas Tree Decorating Contest at the Victorian Mansion
The Barnesville Elementary students in grades 1-4 demonstrated their artistic talents by decorating the four Christmas trees on the Belmont County Victorian Mansion Museum’s front porch. This is the second year for the tree decorating contest sponsored by the Victorian Mansion. Last year’s winner was the current third-grade class. The grade level receiving the most votes gets pizza and drinks.
The voting has started and continues until December 14. Family, friends, and community members are encouraged to vote for their favorite decorated tree either in person on the front porch or online.
The Belmont County Victorian Mansion Museum is open for its holiday hours, which are Fridays from 5-8 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 pm. The final day for holiday tours is December 21. This year, the mansion is decked out in a Father Christmas theme.
