Keegan Martin Makes BHS History
Barnesville High School Senior, Keegan Martin, rolled 12 consecutive strikes to score a perfect 300 against Union Local on November 25, 2025, at Chestnut Lanes. Keegan’s perfect game is the first in school history. The Varsity Boys Bowling team won the match 2353 – 2016.
Keegan has bowled for 8 years, starting in the Junior League as a fifth grader. He shared that he spends countless hours practicing and that his season never stops.
When asked what he was thinking on that last roll, Keegan responded, “The goal was to keep the ball on the lane.” He admitted that having all eyes on him made him nervous. Keegan’s approach is frame by frame. “Each frame is new — I forget the last when I sit down,” he said.
Keegan summed up his feelings in one word: “accomplished.” He added, “The hard work that I have put into the sport has paid off.”
Bowling Coach Chad Hall stated, “Keegan’s 300 shows that dedication and hard work at practice pays off. He’s a great young man on and off the lanes.” Bowler Gavin Moore commented, “Keegan is confident. He is a great teammate.”
Keegan’s 300 was the first in BHS school history, but Coach Hall added, “Hopefully not the last for him or our team!”
