Ohio Magazine Officially Recognizes Barnesville
Ohio Magazine editor Jim Vickers returned to Barnesville Saturday afternoon during Christmas in the Ville activities to formally recognize Barnesville as one of five “Best Hometowns of Ohio 2025-2026”. Joining Vickers for the presentation was Bryan McMahan, advertising account manager for the publication.
They were joined by members and officers of the Barnesville Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Jake Hershberger for the presentation of a framed Barnesville commemorative issue cover that will be displayed in the municipal building.
The event was also captured on film by WTOV and WTRF news crews.
Barnesville, along with Ashland, Green, Mt. Vernon and Yellow Springs, was selected following an extensive vetting process that included a day-long tour of the community in late June.
