Andrew Matthew Vinskovich Jr.

Andrew M. Vinskovich Jr. 73, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Monday December 15, 2025 at The Enclave at Barnesville.  He was born in Bellaire, Ohio March 17, 1952 a son of the late Andrew Matthew and Joanne Howell Vinskovich Sr.

He retired from Ohio Valley Coal Company Powhatan # 6 and a member of the United Mine Workers of America, and later he worked as the Janitor of St. Sylvesters Central School in Woodsfield.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Lu Kolenich Vinskovich.

He is survived by three sons; Matt (Jayne) Vinskovich of Woodsfield, Jason Vinskovich of Pataskala, Ohio, and Brad (Jamie) Vinskovich of Morristown, Ohio, sisters; Sue Hack of Wheeling, West Virginia, Pauline Ridgeway of Tyler, Texas, Andrea Vitale of Bellaire, Ohio, and Elaine Campbell of Shadyside, Ohio, five grandchildren; Mattie Vinskovich, Jayke Vinskovich, Liam Vinskovich, Reagan Vinskovich, and Laken Vinskovich, and several nieces and nephews.

Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family next to his wife Mary Lu in the Warnock Cemetery, Warnock, Ohio.

The family would like to extend their appreciation for the family and friends who supported them during this difficult period. A special thanks to the staff at the Enclave for their tender care of our father. “Mr.Andy” wanted to thank the staff and students at St. Sylvester’s for the precious letters and cards of support. He read and cherished each of them. They were hung on his wall and represented the presence and love of our Savior Jesus Christ.
