Martin Ray White
Martin Ray White, age 73, of Barnesville, Ohio, passed away on December 20, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife and children. He was born on June 6, 1952 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Roland and Betty White.
Martin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother whose life was centered on his family. A hardworking man, he often worked multiple jobs at once to provide for those he loved. Over the years, he was employed at Picoma, served as midnight manager at the 208 Fuel Plaza, and worked as head groundskeeper at Epworth Park.
In his free time, Martin enjoyed watching dirt track racing, walking (and winning!) 5K races, and faithfully cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals. These passions brought him great joy and many shared memories with family and friends.
Martin is survived by his wife, Janice Linger White; his children, Missy Foraker (Danielle), Krissy Foraker, Martin White (Becky), and Leigh Ann White; his grandchildren, Brice, Kaden, Savanna, Isaac, Annalee, Mallory, Chloe, Jaxon, and Maverick; and his sisters, Becky Ritz, Brenda (David) Lieurance, and Marcia (Gary) Perkins.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 26, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home, Barnesville Chapel, 702 East Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio 43713.
Funeral services will take place at Wilson Funeral Home, Barnesville Chapel, on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with interment at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bethesda.
Honoring his memory, pallbearers will include his grandsons Brice Mercer and Isaac White, his brother-in-law Ronnie Linger, and special family friends Josh Beaver, Cameron Lingle, Jim Gallagher, and Matt Bashline.
Martin’s warmth, humor, and dedication to his family will be deeply missed, and his legacy of love and laughter will continue to inspire all who knew him.
