Edward Chini, Sr.

Edward Chini, Sr., Flushing, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on December 23, 2025, at the age of 98. He was born in Lafferty, Ohio, a son of the late Luigi and Pia Chini.

Ed retired after 38 years from the Saginaw Mine, was a lifelong farmer, a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.

Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was his wife Bertha; two sisters Grace and Jeana; and four brothers Gino, Candido, Clementine and Rudy.

Surviving are a son, Edward, Jr. and three daughters: Linda (Harley Johnston), Jayne (Bob Neilson) and Connie (Jim Leonard); two grandchildren: Melissa and Angela; plus several step-grandchildren.

There will be a family graveside service at a future date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Warren Funeral Home, Flushing.
