Area Venues Participate in America 250-Ohio Movie Presentations
COLUMBUS – Several area venues will participate in a statewide program in 2026 as Ohio marks the nation’s 250th anniversary. Movies with connections to the state will be presented once each in Barnesville, Cadiz, Caldwell, Martins Ferry, Morristown and Woodsfield.
According to the organization’s website, “Ohio Goes to the Movies™ (OGTTM) is an unprecedented statewide celebration of movies showcasing Ohioans in front of, and behind the camera (actors, directors, writers, composers) as well as Ohio locations and topics. A Signature Event of America 250-Ohio, OGTTM will start mid-February 2026 and run through October 2026, about 250 days of Ohio movie magic showcasing Ohio’s contributions to America’s film industry and moviemaking.”

May 23 – “Lady and the Tramp”, Barnesville State Theater
June 1 – “Cobra Kai” at the Noble County Fairgrounds, Caldwell
July 24 – “Unstoppable” at the Martins Ferry Recreation Center
September 11 – “The Battle Cry of Peace”, Underground Railroad Museum Plaza, Morristown
October 9 – “The Reliant”, Monroe Theater, Woodsfield
