Sunday Services at Bethesda Mission
A monthly Sunday service is set at 7 p.m., the first Sunday of each month at “The Mission at Love Central”, 201 South Main Street, Bethesda. The next service will take place on January 4.
This is a regular outreach for Marvin Dalton who also ministers each Sunday at the Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church in the Stumptown neighborhood near Somerton.
The historic building housing the mission is located just south of the Bethesda Post Office. It was a grocery store during the first half of the 20th century operated by the Murphy family. They lived next door in the huge brick house connected to the store.
