Boys Basketball: Shamrocks Fall to Zeps 49-46 at Home
The Barnesville Shamrocks (6-15, 3-4 conference) suffered their fourth loss in a row with their latest against the Shenandoah Zeps (3-19, 1-3 conference) at home. Senior Ryker Willis led the way for the Shamrocks by tallying up 16 points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal.
A teammate who accompanied Willis in the stat sheet was fellow senior Brody McFarland who had a monster evening with eight points, 13 rebounds, four blocks, three assists and two steals. Behind the two upperclassmen in terms of productivity were sophomore Bobby Thompson with nine points, sophomore Brady Powell with six points and junior Aidan Caldwell with five points.
The Shamrocks host Harrison Central Saturday, Feb. 28 in a sectional tournament match up.
