Rolling on to State
Competing in Eastern District Division II bowling competition on Thursday at Legacy Lanes, Coshocton, the Shamrock Boys Bowling team came in first making history with the school’s first District Bowling Championship.
The Barnesville team total score of 3766 with the River View (Warsaw) Black Bears a close second as runner up a 3660.
Junior Bo Detling came in at fourth-place, Senior Keegan Martin, fifth while Cole Eddy, Jacob Whitacre and Colton Hall claimed the 13th, 18th and 30th spots of all bowlers in the tournament.
The state tournament will take place on Friday, Feb. 27 at H.P. Lanes (2112 Innis Road) in northeast Columbus.
