Community Town Halls Announced to Promote Transparency and Public Dialogue on Upcoming UL Levy
Press Release
BELMONT – The newly formed Union Local Foundation for the Future Political Action Committee is hosting a series of community town hall meetings across the Union Local School District to ensure residents have access to clear, factual information regarding the upcoming school levy.
Voters in the district will decide the fate of a five-year, 3 mill levy on May 5.
These town halls are designed to provide transparency, encourage accountability, and create an open forum where community members can ask questions directly to district administration and school leadership.
“Our goal is simple, make sure every resident has the opportunity to hear accurate information, ask questions, and feel confident that their voice matters,” said committee chair Taylore Frasnelly. “This effort is about transparency and keeping our communities informed so individuals can form their own opinions and vote based on facts.”
Meetings will be held in each community within the district to make participation accessible and convenient for residents.
The Union Local Foundation for the Future PAC is made up entirely of volunteers committed to ensuring open communication and community engagement throughout this process.
“We are doing this for our neighbors,” Frasnelly said. “Every voice is important, and every resident deserves access to the information they need.”
Residents are encouraged to attend a town hall meeting, ask questions, and participate in the conversation. Community members who care about the future of Union Local Schools are encouraged to get involved and help ensure every voice is heard. The Union Local Foundation for the Future PAC welcomes residents from all perspectives – whether you support the levy, oppose it, or are still gathering information, because open dialogue and diverse viewpoints strengthen our community. Those interested in joining the committee or assisting with outreach and town hall efforts may contact Taylore Frasnelly directly at wtollgate@gmail.com to learn how to participate.
