Blon Records 16th Varsity Win as Shamrocks Blank St. Clairsville

Barnesville – 9,  St. Clairsville – 0

Shamrock pitcher Dylan Blon logged his 16th varsity win Friday night at St. Clairsville in a shutout.

With the victory Blon now claims the school record for wins at 16, passing Jaxon Wiley who previously held the record with 15.

The game that was originally scheduled for Memorial Park was moved due to wet conditions to the Devils’ artificial turf surface.

Blon pitched a complete game shutout to earn the victory, allowing two hits, striking out seven and walking two.

The Shamrocks recorded seven hits. They were led at the plate by Jack Anderson, Max Miller, Blake Burkhart, Parker Sobutka , Evan Wells, Brayden Watters and Blon.

The season record stands at 3-1.

Shamrock JV Baseball Team Tops St. C.

Barnesville – 4, St. Clairsville – 2

The Shamrocks Junior Varsity team defeated St. Clairsville 4-2 Friday Night on the Red Devils’ Diamond.

The victory also raises their record to 3-1 on the season.
