Downtown Flower Basket Sponsors Needed
It must be Spring! Once again business owner Susan Lapham is heading up community beautification efforts with the downtown flower basket program.
The baskets have hung from the over 50 downtown decorative street lamps for many years bringing beauty to Barnesville’s historic downtown business district, the very center of one of “Ohio’s Best Hometowns 2025-2026”.
The project is a classic Barnesville one, a cooperative effort between the Village of Barnesville, the Barnesville Area Chamber of Commerce, and the private sector!
The cost for each basket is $160, an increase of $10 over last year’s As with everything else, the increased cost of materials and fuel are responsible for the change.
Each basket may be sponsored by one business, organization or individual, or an assembled group may sponsor each basket.
