Shamrocks Take Second and Fourth at Bellaire Relays
BELLAIRE – The Shamrock boys track and field team came in second out of a field of 11 teams at the 71st Bellaire Relays this past Saturday while the girls came in fourth.
Steubenville swept both divisions.
Steubenville logged 111 points to Barnesville’s 95 in the boys division. Edison Local, Union Local and Bellaire round out the top five.
In the girls competition, Steubenville had 104 points followed by Martins Ferry at 74, Edison with 63 and Barnesville, 61. Shadyside came in 5th.
Other schools fielding teams were Bridgeport, Southern Local, Linsly, River and Monroe Central.
