Barnesville Pharmacist Honored
Pat Kovacs, owner of Cheffy Drugs, was recently selected as the 2026 recipient of the Ohio Pharmacists Association (OPA) Good Government Award.
This award honors members who excel in public service, legislative affairs, and advancing the profession through government engagement.
Kovacs has owned and operated Cheffy Drugs since 2007. Two years ago, the business marked 100 years under the Cheffy Drugs name. However, the building where the business is housed, 148 East Main Street, has been home to a drug store since before the American Civil War.
