Early Voting Continues Through Sunday

ST. CLAIRSVILLE – Belmont County residents may vote absentee at the county board of elections office through Sunday afternoon. The office is located at 52180 National Road, St. Clairsville.

Citizens who requested mailed absentee ballots may drop off completed ballots at the office during regular hours or in in a secure drop box outside of the office when the office is closed.

Our office hours for Early In-Person voting are as follows:

  • Wednesday, April 29  7:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 30 7:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
  • Friday, May 1  7:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday May 2  8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Sunday May 3 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The office is also open Monday May 4 for regular office hours from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. although early voting will not take place that day.

There are also several local issues on the ballot including a Union Local School District 3-mill, five-year permanent improvements levy and a Sunday liquor sales option for Union Township Precinct 2 related to the Bel-Morr Market, 66440 Belmont-Morristown Road.
