OHHC Recognized by Historic District and Board of Architectural Review
PRESS RELEASE
BARNESVILLE – The Barnesville’s Historic District and Board of Architectural Review honored Ohio Hills Health Center at the Barnesville Chamber Annual Dinner last Thursday.
The Certificate of Appreciation was given to OHHC for their efforts toward the improvement of the Historic District in Barnesville.
“OHHC takes great pride in maintaining the historical integrity of the Bradfield Building, through the preservation of the stained-glass windows, ornate woodwork, tin ceilings and decorative columns,” director of development Jan Chambers said. “At the same time OHHC has repurposed the building to become an active health center and the hub of our downtown.”
OHHC added that by choosing to be located in the downtown, OHHC actively supports the local economy through the employment of approximately 85 individuals and over 15,000 annual patient visits to the Barnesville health center.
Additionally, these employees and visitors bolster the local economy by shopping, dining and supporting local businesses.
“OHHC is proud to be part of the Barnesville community and to embrace the Chamber’s mission of ‘Eat, Shop and Support Local’,” Chambers said.
