Monday, May 4, 2026
1:13 am – officer assisting EMS on Mackey Drive.
9:37 am – officer transporting a student from Railroad Street to the Middle School.
10:18 am – vehicle lockout on East Main Street. Vehicle parked in a handicap space.
2:48 pm – caller states a female got out of a black Honda on East Main Street leaving an infant inside the vehicle.
2:58 pm – caller advises a female and male walking along East Main Street. Caller reports the situation was possible domestic violence. Both got into a vehicle in Save A lot’s parking lot heading west.
3:01 pm – traffic stop on South Broadway Street. Warning issued for stop sign.
3:24 pm – male on station regarding fraud.
3:47 pm – welfare check on South Lincoln Avenue.
6:22 pm – caller states a vehicle passed him on State South 800 driving recklessly. Officer notified.
8:31 pm – caller asked if an officer can be present at his home while he removes his belongings. The dispatcher advised this is a civil matter.
10:22 pm – caller from High Street reports a camper in her back yard has an electric cord plugged into her outlet. She wants the cord unplugged. Dispatcher advised it is a civil matter and she would have to take the matter to court.
11:18 pm – traffic stop on Bond Avenue.
Tuesday, May 5, 2026
5:36 am – traffic stop on Leatherwood Road. Warning issued for speed.
8:03 am – caller from South Lincoln Avenue reports someone is stealing her traffic cones. She keeps buying them and they keep taking them. Dispatcher told her to come to the station and file a report, and the dispatcher would ask the police to make extra patrols.
9:56 am – semi-truck stuck on West South Street needing assistance.
11:26 am – officer enroute to High Street to investigate a complaint.
3:15 pm – caller reports a male withdrew from treatment. No issues were caused. The person leaving will call for a ride.
5:30 pm – caller from South Broadway Street reporting his water is shut off. Dispatcher told the caller water will be turned back on in the morning.
5:46 pm – caller from Fair Street reports someone hit by an e-bike is visibly injured. The call was transferred to 911, for EMS squad dispatch.
6:26 pm – the family of the young man hit by an e-bike at the park asks that an officer come to the hospital to speak with them.
7:59 pm – dispatcher observed on camera a hit and skip accident near the Plumly’s Apartments. Officer made contact with the vehicle’s driver requesting EMS squad for a female experiencing breathing issues.
Wednesday, May 6, 2026
9:22 am – investigating a littering complaint on North Broadway Street.
9:35 am – assisting EMS squad on South Lincoln Avenue.
10:20 am – caller reports mud on the roadway on South Chestnut Street. ODOT is aware of the situation and will have someone remove the mud. The mud is from trucks traveling to and from a well pad.
11:20 am – caller reports a tree is down on State Route 147 West near the old movie theater. The dispatcher contacted ODOT.
12:02 pm – welfare check at Mackey Drive. EMS was there yesterday with a female who refused transport to the hospital.
12:49 pm – caller from South Lincoln Avenue reporting an irritable patient. Caller is requesting help from police and the EMS squad.
3:05 pm – issued a warning for a traffic control.
3:34 pm – caller from South Gardner Street reports there is a dead cat in the alleyway. Dispatcher contacted the street department.
3:41 pm – call about a black German Shepherd dog on the loose on Belview Street. The dog is reportedly acting “kind of crazy”. Officer reports the dog is secured by the owner.
4:45 pm – caller reports an accident on East Main Street stating no one is hurt. EMS squad is requested for an evaluation of a six-year-old child.
6:24 pm – caller reports a child is hanging out the window of a moving car on State Route 147 East of Tacoma. Officer stopped the vehicle.
6:37 pm – traffic stop on Railroad Street.
9:50 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street.
11:11 pm – traffic stop at the Park Lake.
Thursday, May 7, 2026
9:19 am – female caller found a loaded gun clip at the four-way stop in town. She will drop it off at the station.
12:55 pm – female caller advise she lives on East Main Street, and things are happening around her home. Her cameras have been down for a couple weeks. Someone keyed her car and opened her back gate. She will ask the neighbors for their ring camera footage. She will come to the station to fill out a statement.
4:32 pm – man pulling a 35-foot trailer into traffic on West Main Street requests an officer block the roadway long enough for him to pull it onto the road.
5:27 pm – assisting EMS squad on Pine Lane and East Main Street.
6:22 pm – female caller states that she is being harassed by her boyfriend’s mother. She feels threatened. Dispatcher asked her to come to the station and fill out a complaint.
7:04 pm – vehicle lockout in the back lot at McDonald’s.
8:25 pm – traffic stop on the corner of Pine Lane and East Main Street.
8:52 pm – female caller reporting that the light is on at sewage lift station pump. It means that the pump is not working. Dispatcher notified the water department.
9:11 pm – traffic stop on Bond Avenue.
Friday, May 8, 2026
1:38 am – person called about police being on his private property. He doesn’t want the police on his property.
2:16 am – female trooper needs assistance with a urine test for a male that was brought in.
6:12 am – traffic stop on East Main Street.
7:56 am – report of an accident in a parking lot on West Church Street. No injuries reported.
11:19 am – requesting stop signs at the traffic light at Chestnut and Church streets. The power will be off at this intersection temporarily.
1:35 pm – caller from Gray Lane reports an open door on a property. Officer spoke with tenant who stated she had the door open to let fresh air into the home.
1:28 pm – caller from Piedmont Lake reporting his keys are locked in his car. Dispatcher advised that it is out of the Barnesville corporation limit, suggesting he call a tow company.
4:31 pm – caller states her boyfriend hit her in the leg with a belt. She doesn’t want to press charges but wants to end the relationship.
4:34 pm – assisting the EMS squad on South Chestnut Street.
4:40 pm – caller from Captina Drive reporting that a neighbor’s eleven-year-old daughter accidently drove a car into the caller’s parked car.
5:06 pm – vehicle lockout on East Main Street.
6:50 pm – female caller reports her boyfriend kicked her phone out of her hand and broke her glasses. She would like an officer to help her retrieve her cat from his apartment. She doesn’t want to file charges at this time.
7:22 pm – 911 called stating the Belmont County Sheriff Deputy is in pursuit of a vehicle on McMillian Road. A Sheriff’s Deputy has the vehicle stopped.
8:33 pm – female caller from Pine Lane reports her driveway is blocked by vehicles. Officer is going to contact neighbors after hearing screaming and a possible party underway.
9:02 pm – traffic stop on North Chestnut Street.
9:14 pm – male on station regarding an earlier call about his client who stated she had been struck by a belt by her boyfriend. The man is mandated to file a report on the matter, even though the client didn’t want to file one. Officer will talk with the female about the incident.
9:53 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street.
10:04 pm – traffic stop on Railroad Street.
10:08 pm – traffic stop on Railroad Street. Citation issued for speed.
Saturday, May 9, 2026
1:05 pm – caller reports his neighbor on Brill Street is yelling at his child. When he told the neighbor to stop it, the neighbor screamed at him. Caller wants it in the police log.
7:30 pm – follow up investigation on Mackey Drive. Negative contact.
8:57 pm – traffic stop on Roosevelt Road. Officer advised the driver of a side-by-side that it cannot be on the roadway unless it has been inspected.
9:02 pm – traffic stop on Railroad Street. Warning issued for speed.
9:30 pm – traffic stop on MIchelli Street.
9:48 pm – The State Highway Patrol called requesting an officer to go to the Barnesville Hospital. A patient, a state inmate, is combative.
11:28 pm – follow up investigation on Mackey Drive. Statement obtained.
Sunday, May 10, 2026
2:45 am – person received a threating phone call from a “mall party”. Person requested to speak with an officer.
10:38 am – caller reports a neighbor’s cameras are pointing at her apartment. She would like an officer to come down and speak with her.
11:39 am – caller wants police to meet her at her parent’s house to collect her things. She doesn’t want her parents upset that she is moving out. Dispatcher told her that police do not do that without a court order.
1:08 pm – caller advises he drove his girlfriend to get her things to move out of her parent’s house. The girlfriend’s father kicked him off of the property. He would like to speak with an officer.
1:47 pm – 911 advised that a deputy is at the residence of the two previous log reports asking for officer assistance.
5:01 pm – caller from Henderson Street regarding her fourteen-old daughter refusing to give back a butter knife. Caller states the girl, who struggles with self-harm, has locked herself in the bathroom.
5:33 pm – caller from West Main Street regarding a tan van stopped with a person who talked to his children. The person asked the children which one wanted to be kidnapped. The van had three male passengers. Dispatcher checked the cameras and was able to get the license plate number of the van.
5:50 pm – caller from West Main Street reports a neighbor has the van surrounded with the children hostages inside the vehicle. Individuals are screaming and yelling. Dispatcher states that they have received numerous calls about this situation.
7:34 pm – juvenile on station completing a statement regarding previous logs.
8:58 pm – caller reports a waterline break near Dominos at South Broadway and West Main streets.
9:05 pm – caller from Hunts Avenue reports water is flowing down the street. Dispatcher advised it is from the waterline break previously reported.
9:32 pm – received numerous calls about the effects of the waterline break.
