Downtown Blooms
In the pre-dawn hours of Friday morning, Village of Barnesville employees hung over 50 flower baskets from decorative downtown streetlamps. The project is a joint venture between the village and the Barnesville Chamber of Commerce.
Local business owner and chamber director Susan Lapham spearheads the project each year. Baskets are created by the the local Fruits of Life Nursery and are watered and fertilized weekly through the end of September.
