May 8, 2026
12:23 pm–National Road, Morristown. A Deputy assisted the Ohio State Patrol with a traffic accident.
2:05 pm–Bethesda. Deputies responded to a mental health crisis and de-escalated the situation.
7:22 pm–McMillan Road, Barnesville. A deputy detained three juveniles after finding them in possession of a stolen vehicle. The juveniles were delivered to Sargus Detention Center.
9:52 pm–Pear Street, Bethesda. A caller reported that someone tried to kick their door in. After a patrol of the area, no suspect was found.
May 9, 2026
2:03 am–Belmont. Deputies responded to a mental health crisis, and transported the person to a hospital.
3:07 am–I-70 Westbound, Belmont. Deputy checked on a vehicle vs. deer crash. Ohio State Patrol handled the crash.
8:50 am–Pancoast Road, Lafferty. An accidental call took place. After dispatch called back, they got in touch with the homeowner and verified everything was fine. The call was a result of a Windstream Internet service issue.
9:17 am–Flushing. Deputies were dispatched to check on the family of an assault victim. Everything was found to be in order.
11:07 am–Flushing. A person called in a wellness check on an unresponsive neighbor. A deputy arrived and found the neighbor had passed away.
12:25 pm–Fairpoint-Maynard Road, Fairpoint. A fight was reported to be in progress. A deputy arrived on the site and broke it up. No charges were pressed.
1:25 pm–Pancoast Road, Belmont. Another accidental call took place. Contact was established with the property’s caretaker and it was verified that everything was fine. The call was a result of a Windstream issue.
4:56 pm–Belmont-Morristown Road, Belmont. A deputy filed a report on a crash in the area.
6:33 pm–Morristown. Deputies arrived at a residence to respond to reports of an unruly juvenile. After verifying the safety of the situation, it was determined that the family would handle the situation internally.
May 10, 2026
1:25 pm–Hillcrest Road, Barnesville. A caller reported that his girlfriend was in danger. A deputy arrived to investigate. It was determined that the caller was untruthful with 911 and there was no danger.
4:02 pm–Oak Street, Bethesda. A deputy responded to a call to resolve a dispute between neighbors. The neighbors were told to contact the Village of Bethesda to resolve the matter.
7:24 pm–National Road, Belmont. Deputies responded to a domestic issue. The deputies referred the caller to the proper authorities.
8:03 pm–Flushing Northeast, Flushing. A caller reported people riding dirt bikes on his property. A deputy arrived and spoke to all parties.
May 11, 2026
5:00 am–Ogilbee Road, Jacobsburg. A caller reported a vehicle was burning near his residence. The fire department requested a deputy check it out in case it was suspicious.
8:03 am–West Main Street, Holloway. A deputy followed up on a previous incident. No contact was achieved.
1:41 pm–Belmont. Deputies responded to a mental health call.
3:56 pm–Union Township. Deputies responded to a domestic dispute. The parties were separated.
4:02 pm–A deputy saw a four-wheeler traveling at a high rate of speed. After pursuing, no contact was achieved.
5:44 pm–Belmont-Morristown Road, Belmont. A deputy responded to an overhead door alarm. Nothing was out of the ordinary.
7:48 pm–Belmont-Centerville Road, Belmont. A deputy was dispatched to a location after a caller disconnected. The call related to a verbal confrontation that concluded before the deputy’s arrival.
10:51 pm–Liddle Road, Jacobsburg. A caller requested a wellness check on two neighbors. One of the neighbors was taken to the hospital.
May 12, 2026
9:08 am–West Church Street, Barnesville. A deputy responded to a request for backup from a Barnesville police officer. The deputy obtained information for a report.
1:14 pm–Wheeling Township. A deputy checked on a woman. No assistance was necessary.
1:11 pm–Smith Township. A deputy responded to a call for a fight. When the deputy arrived, there was no fight. Persons at the scene said the caller misunderstood the situation.
