Barnesville Green Bronco Team Improves to 5-0
The Barnesville Green Bronco team is now 5-0 this season after recently defeating St. Clairsville Tuesday, May 19, by a score of 15-5.
Kason Keiger was the winning pitcher with four innings pitched with four hits, four runs, nine strikeouts and two walks. Austyn Weiss had two innings pitched, two hits, one run, five strikeouts and one walk.
Offensively, the Shamrocks had 17 hits. Brogan Shilling and Gavin Smith each collected four hits. Jaxson Humphrey had three hits and four RBI’s. Hank Jefferis had two hits, and Austyn Weiss tallied two hits and two RBI’s.
Keiger had a solo home run over the left center field fence. His teammate, Issac Blon, collected a triple for the evening.
The Shamrocks next play the River team in Clarington Thursday at 6 p.m.
