Baseball: Senior Max Miller Awarded Scholarship
BARNESVILLE — For two straight years, a player for Barnesville High School’s varsity baseball team has been awarded a scholarship based on their excellence in terms of athletic and academic performance from the Ohio Valley Baseball Umpires Association.
In 2025, that player was then BHS senior Caleb Powell. This year, senior Max Miller of Barnesville, and senior Jayden Astipalitis of the John Marshall Monarchs will be rewarded for their efforts on the baseball diamond and in the classroom.
Miller is one of the Shamrocks’ best players considering his leadership and how well he’s produced for his team this season.
