BARNESVILLE (June 5, 2026) – The Barnesville Area Chamber of Commerce is aware of concerns that have been raised regarding a staffing matter.
The Chamber has taken appropriate administrative steps and reviewed the matter through its Board process.
As part of that process, as with any growing organization, the Chamber is strengthening its internal procedures, including financial controls, documentation requirements, purchasing practices, and dual-control procedures for cash handling.
Our priority is to protect the integrity of Chamber operations, maintain public trust, and continue serving our members and community.
We appreciate the public’s patience and support as the Chamber continues its work on behalf of Barnesville and the surrounding area.
