Bradley Keith Wees

Bradley Keith Wees, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on June 12, 2026, following a rapidly progressing cancer diagnosis.

He is survived by his husband and partner of 28 years, Tom Morgan; his father, Dennis Wees of Barnesville, Ohio; his twin brother, Brian Wees; and his younger brother, Brent Wees.

Bradley’s love of theater began at an early age. A self-described “theater geek,” he turned that passion into a lifelong career and calling. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from Otterbein University, where he formed lifelong friendships and became a proud member of Pi Beta Sigma fraternity.

After graduation, Bradley began his professional career working in a theater box office before joining the Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA). Over the years, he played an important role in the stewardship and preservation of some of Ohio’s most treasured historic venues, including the Ohio Theatre, Palace Theatre, and Southern Theatre. He took great pride in caring for these beloved landmarks and ensuring they remained welcoming, beautiful spaces for generations of audiences.

In a fitting tribute to a life devoted to the arts, Bradley’s name was recently displayed on the marquee of the historic Ohio Theatre, a gesture that reflected the deep appreciation and respect of the community he served.

Bradley will be remembered for his dedication, kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering love of theater. He will be deeply missed by his Husband, family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A memorial service will be held at the Southern Theatre. Additional details will be announced soon.
