Misty Dawn Long

Misty Dawn Long, 56, of St. Clairsville, Ohio passed away at her home on June 30, 2026. She was born in Germany on February 3, 1970, a daughter of Mary C. (Jumps) Lucas and the late Lawrence “Bub” Lucas.

Misty retired from secretarial work and was a happy homemaker. She enjoyed making candles and collecting crystals and rare rocks. She liked the beach and butterflies. She loved spending time with her family and special dog, Sadie.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Long; and brothers, Larry Lucas and Jack Lucas.

Left with cherished memories are her children, Russell (Stephanie) Heller, Ryan Stokes, Miranda Long; grandchildren, Haylee, Carter, Sadie; stepchildren, Scott (Rachel) Drake, Talisha Long (Michael Ivey), Megan (Thomas) Drago; siblings, Rusty (Mary Ann) Lucas, Theresa Starr; sister-in-law, Bonnie Lucas; plus many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to calling hours on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 from 3pm until the time of service at 6pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, Bethesda Chapel, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio 43719. Pastor Tim Snyder will be officiating. Cremation to follow.
