Michelle “Shelly” D Kennedy

Michelle “Shelly” D Kennedy, 65, of Kimbolton passed away Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Genesis Hospital.

Shelly was born April 28, 1961, in Cambridge to the late Mildred Durben.

She worked at Kraft Foods for twenty-five years. She was a Christian by faith, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey Kennedy, whom she married January 18, 2005, and who passed July 30, 2023.

She is survived by her sons, Cory (& Jenna) Johnson of Old Washington, Justin Cole (& Valerie) Durben of Hannibal, and Jeffrey (& Tamara) Kennedy of Byesville; her brother, Jeff Durben of Salesville; her sister, Tina (Carl) Woodby of Coshocton; six, grandchildren, Addison, Kaydee, Julie, Trisha, Liam, and Ashlyn; and one great- grandchild, Oaklyn.

Private family services will be held.
