Quaker City – The Quaker City Volunteer Fire Department’s Firemen’s Royalty was announced at the beginning of the 2026 Ohio Hills Folk Festival Thursday night.
“Congratulations to the 2026-2027 QCVFD Fireman’s Royalty: Queen Jaylin Winegardner, Princesses Everleigh Atchison and Oaklynn Atchison and Prince Levi Gardner. Collectively they raised nearly $3,500 for the fire department,” the release noted.
“Being a prince or princess required one act of community service and a queen two acts of community service. We like to encourage our younger generations to love and respect their community by getting out there and helping when and where they can. We can’t wait to see what this next year holds for these kids”.
