Faith Marie Smith Wortman

Faith Marie Smith Wortman, 79, of Flushing, Ohio, died July 12, 2026, at Trinity Health St. Clairsville Neighborhood Hospital.

Faith was born March 11, 1947, in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late Earl Smith and Stella Rozanski Smith.

She was a family-oriented woman and took pride in raising her children and taking care of her home. Faith found joy in many different activities such as reading, cooking, genealogy, gardening, and especially crocheting. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and being there for them whenever they needed her.

In addition to her parents, Faith was preceded in death by brothers Dale Smith, Keith Clark, and Stanley “Buzzy” Clark; and two grandsons, Preston and Michael Wortman.

Faith is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Charles “Chuck” Wortman; her children, Darla (Curt) Dubert, Laura Wortman, Misty Wortman, and Charles (Theresa) Wortman Jr; her grandchildren, Marcus Hannaman, LaTisha Hannaman, Matthew Wortman, Nicholas Wortman, Katie Wortman, Tyler Pitner, and Olivia Wortman; her great-grandchildren, Madisyn Hannaman and Kynleigh Hannaman, and siblings, Gary (Ilonka) Smith, and brother “Brub”.

According to the wishes of the family, there will be no visitation or services held.
